Golwe campsite is situated in the foothills of the old Venda homeland, in the far northern Limpopo Province and is where South Africa’s only patch of Brachystegia Woodland occurs. It is probably the best place in the country to view African Broadbill with Chris, the local bird guide having plotted each territory of these birds within his area. Birding is excellent and there are numerous rare species which can be seen here. |
