Chris is the site birding guide for Venda and guides through Golwe Vhurivhuri and Gundane Areas as well as the Big Tree. He is an expert on African Broadbills. Golwe and Gundane are situated deep in the hills of Venda which holds the only Brachystegia Woodland in South Africa. Numerous rivers run through the area and thick riparian vegetation is also found. Specials which Chris can show you may include African broadbill, Narina Trogon, Scaly-Throated Honeyguide, Pink-Throated Twinspot, Grey Waxbill and Retz’s Helmetshrike.
