Visiting wine cellars in other countries is always an interesting venture. In Argentina, the wine country in and around Mendoza, produces some of the best wines I have tasted.

Their cellars are not usually that old and much more "industrial" than the farms in South Africa. The wine farms and cellars are interesting places to visit and provide many photographic opportunities. Just keep the wine tasing for after!

Photo Tip:
Shot from a makeshift support using the top of a wine barrel. Being able to adapt to the situation and making use of whats in your surroundings can often produce interesting results. I spotted this image the minute we entered the cellar, but since we were on a tour and heading that way I had only a few seconds while the guide was talking to get the shot.
