Enseleni Nature Reserve is an excellent bird watching location that lies just off the N2 highway and is the perfect stopover en-route to the Zululand Game Reserves.
The reserve allows one to walk and there are two excellent short trails that cover the variety of scenic habitats. Small game species such as Red Duiker and Banded Mongoose are fairly common and there is wide diversity of butterflies and insects to be seen in the summer months.
